But there is another way... and that without even rudimentarily renouncing the necessary functionality of the armor. Because we are well aware of that: Good protection is the most important task of every Kendo Bogu. Also here the 3 mm armor Gosei Hikaku performs well. It is comfortable to wear and adapts very well to the contours of the head and hands during the first weeks of training. It takes hits in training situations and competition well, but yes, there are also limitations. I wouldn't recommend it for very sensitive Kendoka and for the hard use as armor of a trainer.
