Made from 100% organic cotton, this jacket offers a natural feel, whilst well-thought-out reinforcements ensure durability and performance. Designed for Aikidoka who value quality, sustainability and a perfect fit.
Material & Craftsmanship
The jacket is made from GOTS-certified organic cotton sourced from a sustainable project by Cotonea in collaboration with Helvetas. It is manufactured under Fair Trade and controlled conditions in Europe – in our own sewing workshop.
Reinforced areas on the shoulders, neck and chest feature functional CoolMax fabric. This ensures effective moisture-wicking whilst protecting high-wear areas from wear and tear.
Fit & Design
The specially designed women’s cut, with bust darts and a tailored shape, ensures a precise fit without restricting freedom of movement.

Beautiful, quality gi!
As a fairly new aikidoka, I’d been practicing in a stiff judo gi for several months. Bu Jin was recommended by a classmate and I loved seeing that the gi was made from organic cotton, as a natural fiber enthusiast! The cut is so flattering with the breast darts. Not only do I feel more graceful (and agile) in a more relaxed fabric, that confidence flows into the way I’m able to practice on the mat. It’s a lovely gi with amazing details. The ties are perfect and let the kimono lie in a clean way. Also amazing is the customer service!
