The Jo SHIRO KASHI 27 mm was specially developed for taller budōka and, with its longer design and larger diameter, offers stable and controlled handling during training.
A training stick for aikidoka and jōdōka who value balance, reach and reliable material quality.
Material & workmanship
The jo is made of high-quality white oak (Shiro Kashi) – a wood that has proven itself in budō for generations.
The parallel grain ensures a particularly stable structure and reduces the risk of stress cracks or breakage. This means that the jo remains reliable and durable even during intensive training sessions.
Balance & training feel
With a length of 135 cm and a diameter of 27 mm, this jo is specifically designed for taller budōka or practitioners who prefer a more powerful weapon.
Traditionally, the length of a jo is chosen so that it fits under the armpit of the right arm. The extended Jo SHIRO KASHI meets this requirement, especially for taller individuals, and offers a calm, controlled balance.
