Material & workmanship
The jo is made from the finest white oak (Shiro Kashi) – a wood that has proven itself in budō for generations.
The parallel wood grain ensures high stability and reduces the risk of stress cracks or breakage. At the same time, the material provides a particularly solid and controlled training experience.
The surface is deliberately kept simple, emphasising the natural structure of the wood.
