What information do we collect?
In order to transact business we may need to collect personal information such as:

Bu Jin® Design does not sell or rent your personal information to third parties.

We may however need to share your information with certain third parties for limited purposes such as our woodworker or iaito supplier in order to fulfill your order. We will also need to share your information with our delivery partners in order for them to deliver your package.

Third parties are only authorized to use your information to perform the service for which they are hired.

We may be required to share personal information with law enforcement agencies as required by law. We reserve the right to report to law enforcement agencies activities that we believe to be unlawful, such as credit card fraud or identity theft.

Is your information secure?
Your personal information is secured by SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) encryption during data transfer from your browser to our servers during the ordering process. You will need to select a password in order to set up an online account. We recommend that you choose a password with at least 6 characters including both letters and numbers. You are responsible for keeping this information secure and we will not be held liable for any negligence on your part.

Do you need to set up an account to place an order?
You are able to purchase online without setting up an account, however you will need to enter your personal information each time you order and you will not be able to check the status of your order or view your order history.

Cookie and Clickstream use
A cookie is a small text file that we may send to your browser in order to personalize your shopping experience. These text files may be stored on your hard drive. Our cookies do not store any personally identifiable information.

Our web servers automatically collect non-personally identifiable clickstream information such as:

• the referring URL or address of the web page you came from immediately prior to visiting our site
• which pages you visit on our site
• which browser you use
• what search terms you enter

Do we collect information from children?
We do not knowingly or intentionally collect information from children under the age of 13.

Bu Jin® Design reserves the right to change or modify this policy without notice but changes will be posted here for review with the revision date shown below. If we change our policies in any way that affects your personal information you will be given the opportunity of changing your preferences at that time.
