Welcome to the "This I Believe about Budo" section of our Newsletter.

We present this as a place where teachers and students alike have an opportunity to articulate and publish their thoughts and beliefs about their chosen martial art. With a January 2007 inception, we hope it will eventually become a repository for a number of insightful, provocative, or otherwise inspirational contributions by those involved in the martial arts.

So what do YOU believe? Has a martial art changed your life - for the better or for worse? Has it pulled you through a tough spot? If you have trained for years, why? What do you think is your art's place in society? Don't stop there - there are as many stories as there are people, and each is unique!

To submit an article for consideration, please attach it as a Word document and send it, along with photos, to newsletter@bujindesign.com. If your story is selected, it will reside in the Bu Jin® Design Newsletter Archives with full credits and will be mentioned in the monthly Subscriber Newsletter. Those selected will receive a $15 Bu Jin® Design Gift Certificate!

• Two jpeg. images - encouraged, but optional
• Your name; title, rank and dojo, if applicable; phone number; current email address. (Phone number and email address is for internal use only and will not be published unless you request that we do so.)
