Our hardwood Brazilian Cherry Jo staff is fabricated of three laminated layers to make it straight, strong and durable. The Jo is available in three diameters: Small 15/16", Medium 1" and Large 1 1/16", and in lengths up to 55". For sizing, one general rule for determining the length is that the jo should fit just under your armpit while standing. Please specify length and diameter when ordering.

With triple cross-grain lamination, this beautiful Brazilian Cherry bokken is sure to become a favorite. The wood is dense and in general is heavier, size for size, than our hickory aikido bokken. Shaped in the Jigenryu style, it is 42" in overall length and is available in three sizes: Small (4.25" grip circumference), Medium (4.5" grip circumference) and Large (4.75" grip circumference).

A beautiful match to the full size aikido bokken in every way, this shoto bokken is double-laminated and 23" in length. Students of two-sword techniques will appreciate the heft and balance. Available in one size only, with grip circumference of 4".

Our Brazilian Cherry Tanto, or training knife, measures 12" in length and is carefully crafted from solid hardwood. Each piece is selected to yield its own distinct character, then individually worked to completion.
