Every aspect of how to project one’s attention, where to place it, and the importance of proper placement of the Mind in technique is covered in this martial arts dvd. Proper body mechanics, as a pre-requisite for projecting one’s energy to the partner, are also examined in detail.
Students interested in taking their technique beyond the merely physical and giving it real content will find this DVD set a most valuable training aid. With over seven hours of instruction and demonstration, including a segment on sword work with “aiki”, this video is a great bargain. George Ledyard sensei began his aikido studies in 1976 under the direct instruction of Mitsugi Saotome shihan and has continued this association while founding and serving as chief instructor of Aikido Eastside in Bellevue, WA.
